Black and White Hand drawn portrait from your photo
It is getting close to mothers day and what better way to show her you love her than a gift that will last a lifetime.
A hand drawn portrait from her favorite photo.
They are fast, accurate and charming.
The image here was done for my new friend Ian in the Phillipines.
The drawing was done from a snapshot of his family. This little boy just had the best face to draw. He is filled with character.
His testimonial and website is below.
Thanks man! I love it. You really got great talents! :)

Hand Drawn Self Portrait
I have been doing these portraits for awhile now and strangely enough I have never done one of myself. Plus I have been admonished for not putting one up. So here it is.

new approach
My latest hand drawn portrait.
I have been experimenting with a new approach for these little gems.
Everyone loves color and I am no exception. So, I decided to show you
how your portrait can be altered in an inexpensive yet exciting way.
After scanning in your portrait and playing with photoshop a whole new look emerges.
I think it gives an old world yet contemporary look to them.
As a special promo I am offering this approach for the same price as a black and white.

Jean Robert De Cavel hand drawn portrait
Today was my birthday and went to a new restaurant for brunch "Lavomatic".
They have great coffee and a wonderful chocolate & walnut croissant. Later it was off to the museum. "The three faces of Rembrandt". One painting has never left the louvre and is just breathtaking.
He did a self portrait in his mid 50's that just defies description. Skillful and touching.
Anyway I came home just needing to draw something so I drew and painted the owner of Lavomatic ,Jean Robert De Cavel. I think it came out pretty well.
